Fees
Here's exactly what Fitness Vow charges — for funding your plan, withdrawing your balance, and missing sessions. No surprises, no fine print.
1. Funding your plan
When you fund your wallet to start a plan, Fitness Vow charges a one-time service fee on top of your plan's required balance. The fee is shown clearly before checkout, and your wallet is credited with the full plan amount.
2. Withdrawing your balance
To withdraw, you first cancel your plan. After cancellation, you can request a withdrawal at any time. Fees are taken from the amount you request.
Minimum withdrawal amount is $10.00. You may only have one withdrawal in progress at a time.
3. Missed sessions
If you miss a scheduled session or fail your follow-up check-in, a miss charge is deducted from your wallet balance. Each funded balance covers up to four misses, and the charges escalate so the cost of skipping grows the more you skip.
The four miss charges always sum to your full plan amount — so 4 misses can bring your wallet to exactly $0. The exact dollar amounts are shown to you before you confirm your plan.
Forfeited amounts are not refundable. Once a miss is recorded and the charge is applied, those funds are no longer part of your withdrawable balance and cannot be returned, credited, or recovered. This is by design — the rule is what makes the vow real.
4. No subscription · auto-recharge
Fitness Vow has no subscription fee. There is no monthly access charge, no recurring "membership" cost. You only pay for what you actually fund into your plan.
If your wallet balance hits $0 while there is still time left in your commitment period and another scheduled session is coming up, your plan automatically recharges using your saved payment method.
- Same amount as your original plan funding
- Same 9% service fee ($2.50 minimum) added on top
- Happens automatically — you don't need to confirm again
- Keeps the vow alive so missed sessions still have consequences
To stop auto-recharges, cancel your plan before your balance reaches $0. Once your plan is cancelled, no further charges are made and any remaining balance can be withdrawn (withdrawal fees apply).
Why this exists: a "vow" you can let lapse silently isn't a vow at all. The auto-recharge keeps you accountable for the plan you signed up for. If you genuinely want out, the answer is simple — cancel the plan.
The plain-English version
When you make your vow, you're putting real skin in the game. Sessions you show up for protect your balance. Sessions you miss deduct the miss charge for your tier — and that forfeited amount is non-refundable by design. It's what makes the accountability work.
Your wallet, deductions, and available withdrawal balance are always visible inside the app. Nothing is hidden, nothing is ambiguous — you see every cent in, out, and remaining.
